We understand that circumstances may arise where you as a customer will need to cancel or request a refund. This policy outlines our procedures for refunds and cancellations should these circumstances arise.
- Cancellation by a Participant to scheduled seminars, workshops, and sensitization activities, etc.
- Cancellation before the commencement of event/activity.
- Refunds will be made on cancellations made seven (7) days before the commencement of an event/activity.
- A participant should specify how funds should be processed (bank transfer, credit cards, mobile money).
- The refunded fees will be less bank transaction fees.
- A customer reserves the right to transfer the registration to another individual person.
- A customer reserves the right to transfer registration to another future event/activity. Where a customer chooses this option, the future price shall be adjusted to prevailing economic conditions including inflation, etc.,
- Cancellation before the commencement of event/activity.
- Cancellation after commencement of event/activity
- Once the course has begun, no refunds will be issued.
- However, in rare or exceptional circumstances a participant may request a partial refund or credit towards a future event/activity. This will be considered case-by-case and at the sole discretion of ccet.
- Making a Cancellation
- A participant may cancel participation by using the “Event/Activity Cancellation” page on the Web Portal to effect the cancellation.
- A participant may also use alternative contact facilities available on the Web Portal to request a cancellation.
- Event/Activity cancellation by the Organiser
- In the unlikely event that the event/activity’s possibility of taking place is impeded by factors beyond its control, the organizer may issue a notice of a cancellation. In this case;
- A participant is provided two options (1) refund in full; (2) transfer the fees to a future event/activity.
- Where a customer requests a full refund, the funds will be made available within 48 hours.
- The organiser will use all possible means of communication channels including telephone and email to communicate promptly such cancellations.
- In the unlikely event that the event/activity’s possibility of taking place is impeded by factors beyond its control, the organizer may issue a notice of a cancellation. In this case;
- Cancellation by the trainee (applies to trainees enrolled on short-to-medium term course)
- The following applies to a trainee who desires to cancel the enrolment before commencement of scheduled course(s);
- For Web-based training services: A full refund, less bank transaction fees will be made on cancellations made days (5) days before commencement, provided no course materials have been downloaded.
- In-Personal training services: A partial refund (40%) less, inclusive bank transaction charges will be refunded for cancellation requests made seven (7) days before commencement of lessons.
- Access to digital materials
- Access to digital materials means access to course materials and/or materials relevant to the training programme. Access therefore means, downloading files, watching videos, and completing quizzes.
- Where less than 2 lessons is the course is accessed, a refund of 20% may be issued. “Access” is this case refers to downloads of learning and auxiliary materials, videos, quizzes, etc.
- A trainee may request to have their enrollment from a course canceled by contacting us via our Contact Us page and requesting us to effect the cancellation.
- A cancellation is effected upon receipt and review of the case, and the feedback provided to the trainee.
- The following applies to a trainee who desires to cancel the enrolment before commencement of scheduled course(s);
- Cancellation by the training institution (applies to short-to-medium term course)
- Ccet reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to factors beyond its control.
- If a course is cancelled by ccet , a trainee will be offered the following options:
- A full refund of the course fee.
- Enrolment in a rescheduled course, if available.
- Enrolment in an alternative course of equal value.
- Technical Issues:
- In the event of technical issues/glitches which significantly disrupt course delivery on our learning platform, ccet will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issues promptly.
- If the technical issues are beyond the control of ccet, and thus, cannot be resolved, ccet may reschedule the affected sessions or offer alternative solutions, such as providing access to recorded sessions, or use of other digital engagement platforms.
- Non-Refundable Items:
- Downloaded materials (e.g., e-books, reports, research material, bulletins, papers, etc.,) are non-refundable.
- Access to online communities or forums, after access has been granted, is non-refundable.
- Any promotional or discounted courses may have individual refund policies that override this general policy. Check the individual promotion disclaimers.
- Course Transfer
- Course transfers to a different date or different course may be allowed under certain circumstances. A transfer fee may apply, where appropriate.
- Cancellation on subscription services
- Cancellation of subscription services:
- For subscription services, a customer may cancel subscription at any time. The cancellation will prevent future billing.
- No refunds will be issued for the current billing cycle. Access to the subscribed services will continue until the end of the current billing period.
- A customer may cancel subscription from the Membership Dashboard on the Web Portal to effect the cancellation.
- Cancellation will be effected within 48 hours.

- ccet reserves the right to modify or amend this refund and cancellation policy at any time.
- Any changes made to this policy will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately.
